Townhouses for sale in Toronto, the GTA and across Ontario
Townhouse Connect is a real estate site built around one kind of home. That covers freehold townhouses, condo townhouses, stacked townhouses and bungalow townhomes, from two-bedroom starters to family-sized end units, in cities across Ontario.
Most searches start with a place. The cities buyers ask about most are Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville and Hamilton. Each city page points you to the neighbourhoods where the townhouses are.
With a townhouse, how it is owned matters as much as how it looks. Whether a home is freehold or a condo townhouse, what any monthly fee covers and who looks after the roof, snow and lawn all affect what you pay and how you live, so we explain them in plain language and help you check the status certificate before you commit to a condo townhouse.
Browse for as long as you like. When you want to see a home in person, ask about a street or complex, or find out what your own townhouse is worth, call, text or use live chat. A townhouse specialist answers.
Common questions
What kinds of homes are on Townhouse Connect?
Townhouses of every kind: freehold townhouses, condo townhouses, stacked and back-to-back townhouses, and bungalow townhomes, across Toronto, the GTA and the rest of Ontario.
What is the difference between a freehold and a condo townhouse?
With a freehold townhouse you own the home and the lot, pay no monthly condo fee and look after the roof, windows, driveway, snow and lawn yourself. With a condo townhouse you own the unit and pay a monthly maintenance fee to a condominium corporation that looks after the common elements, often including the roof, landscaping and snow.
What is a POTL fee?
Some freehold townhouses sit on a private road. The home is freehold, a parcel of tied land or POTL, but owners share the cost of the road through a small monthly fee, usually covering snow clearing, visitor parking and garbage pickup. Ask what it covers before you buy. It is separate from your mortgage and property tax.
Is it free to use?
Yes. Browsing, listing alerts, the calculators and a townhouse evaluation are all free, with no obligation.
Who is behind Townhouse Connect?
The site is run by Will Balo, a Realtor with RE/MAX Experts who works with townhouse buyers and sellers. Townhouse Connect is not a brokerage. When you are ready to buy or sell, you work with one of our preferred realtors who specialize in townhouses.
